Pak-Tajik Friendship Association launched in Lahore

Ambassador of Tajikistan inaugurated the office of Pakistan-Tajikistan Friendship Association in Lahore on March 13, 2017.
H.E. Mr. Sherali S. Jononov, while speaking on the occasion, praised his Pakistani friends who took the initiatives adding that this step would further bring people of both the countries closer.
The Ambassador further said, his country greatly valued its relations with Pakistan, which was evident from the high level visits, which took place in recent years.
His Excellency further said the recently held ECO summit in Islamabad was a great success for which Pakistani authorities needed appreciation.
He added Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon, attended the ECO summit, along with other heads of states and governments. He said the Tajik president and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had met on a number of occasions.
Ambassador Sherali assured the office bearers of Pakistan-Tajikistan Friendship Association of his full support and hoped this association would do its best to promote bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.
