In 11 November 2011 the meeting of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Zubaydullo Zubaydov was held with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Czech Republic in Islamabad Miroslav Krenek.
Ambassador Z. Zubaydov informed his colleague on bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Pakistan, and highlighted that the cooperation of both countries is developing in most spheres. According to the Tajik diplomat, trade turnover between the two countries and establishment of joint ventures are gradually increasing.
In his turn, Czech Ambassador M. Krenek stated that the issue of Afghanistan also occupies an important position in the Czech foreign policy. He informed that currently servicemen of Czech Republic are present in Afghanistan and they are mainly busy with training of this country’s officers and soldiers. According to Czech diplomat, Czech Republic has good relations with Pakistan.
The Tajik Ambassador stressed the importance of Afghan crisis settlement and Pakistan’s role in this process, as well as underlined the assistance of all the relevant countries in peace and stability revival there.
At the end of a talk the sides expressed their readiness to maintain contacts and continue negotiations on important regional issues. |
